Preparations Underway For the LMCF Lexington Big Three

17 February 2018 - From the Lexington Spring Festival Management:

Thank you Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund for your generous support and title sponsorship of the Lexington Big 3. Their support will encompass the Lexington Spring Festival (April 25-29 & May 2-6, 2018) and the National (August 7-12, 2018).

The Virginia Horse Center (501(c)(3), receives 100 percent of the proceeds of their 3 AA Premiere competitions. With the support of the Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund and other new supporters, we will be able to continue to build on the platform of excellence established for many years by Leslie Brown and our team.

We are so thrilled to be able to offer increased prize money in our most well attended sections, like the Junior Hunters and Amateur-Owners. The Pre-Children's and Pre-Adult Hunters will be expanded and have a classic. The 1.20m and lower jumpers will find a new home in Northern Arena and increased class opportunities and money.

We will hold a $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby every Friday afternoon at the Sandy Gerald Ring on the hilltop with an accompanying party. Generous support will enable us to expand hospitality offerings to include new Keurig and snack stops around the grounds.

Don’t forget the Premiere and the National are WCHR Member events. All three are also rated AA, VHSA, MHSA, NCHJA, SWVHJA, VAChamps, and Take2TB.

P.S. Children's and Adult Amateur Hunters get to compete in the Wiley Arena Week 2 and the Junior/A-O Hunters will show on the hilltop the second week. We can’t wait for you to enjoy the all new Sandy Gerald Ring!
